The annual Oktoberfest celebration kicks off this Saturday, October 4th from noon to 5 p.m.  Learn traditional folk dances, hosted by the Edelweiss Club.  An assortment of food and beverages will be available for purchase.  Price for the 2008 Oktoberfest are $6 adults, $4 children.  Call 343-8649 for tickets. 

After all the dancing head out to Nampa for the St. Paul’s Youth and Scouting Foundation’s Oktoberfest celebration.  Music starts at 5:30 p.m., dinner at 8:00 p.m.  Win door prizes and bring the whole family out for a night of fun.  Oktoberfest authentic German dinner held at the Columbian Center, 2900 Railroad Ave., Nampa.  $8 adults, children under 5 free with paid adult.  Tickets available at the door or at Dave’s Lock Ship, 111 3rd St. Nampa.
